Office of Vocational Rehabilitation

The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) serves PA residents who face barriers to employment due to physical, intellectual, or emotional disabilities. For these individuals, the OVR provides vocational evaluation, counseling, and job placement assistance. The OVR works with the individual as well as the care provider and can give referrals for adaptive aids to work. The OVR also has considerable experience with area employers, giving them great insight regarding what type of jobs disabled individuals can exceed in and which employers are best able to utilize candidates with their unique traits.
