The South Central Workforce Investment Board (SCWIB) recognizes collaboration as a critical success factor for achieving the goals of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). The process for development of our Local Plan was a collaborative venture between the Local Elected Officials (LEOs), the Workforce Investment Board (WIB), Business & Industry, Educational Institutions, Community & Economic Development, Private Industry, community leaders, and private citizens. The development of this Local Plan was consistent and aligned with the Commonwealth's strategic direction.
